Lemon Squeezer Yoga Hike & Swim
Sunday August 10th, 2008
Join us for a moderately challenging and thoroughly enjoyable hike in
Harriman State Park. We'll hike through the woods, past the lake, and
up to our yoga overlook.
Once we hit our yoga spot, we'll lay out our yoga mats on the
rock for a yoga practice designed to stretch the muscles we just
worked.
After our practice, we have lunch together under the shade of a tree. Next it's a hike down to the swimming spot to cool off!
Our yoga practice is suitable for all levels. Beginners welcomed.
Wear stretchy comfortable clothing, shorts or pants, a
somewhat fitted t-shirt, sneakers or hiking boots, and a long sleeved
shirt in case you get cool. Think layers!
Bring a backpack, yoga mat, a way to attach your mat to your
backpack (or test putting it inside the pack), water - lots!, lunch,
swimsuit, towel, sunhat, suncreen, insect repellent, sunglasses.
Included: RT transport to/from NYC, guided hike, yoga class, lake swim
